I have a new love
How can a piece of cookware make me so happy? For Christmas I got Joe a 6 3/4 QT Le Crueset Dutch oven. He wanted an enameled cast iron piece for quite sometime. I had always been afraid of the enamel. I thought it would be hard to clean and would stain.
After making Christmas sauce and then sausage and peppers in his present - I was totally surprised at how easy clean up is.
With my birthday just around the corner - I got my present today. A 5 qt brasier!
I know, the simple pleasures in life!

Exterior house pictures
Top of the driveway - looking west to east
Bottom of the driveway looking west to east
Taken from the northeast corner of the house looking toward the driveway. The house you see in the center of the picture across the street is Jason and Jolie's house.
This shows the blue bedroom window, Jack and Jill bath window, and neutral bedroom with laminate floor window.
These are pictures of the back yard. The first picture is taken from the west looking east. In the forefront is the laundry room behind the game/wet bar room.
This back porch picture is shows a tiny bit of the door that leads to the small hallway between the kitchen and the laundry room. The window looks into the kitchen and then you see the french doors that have narrow windows on either side, offering even more of an open feeling into the kitchen/great room.
This is looking inside the back, kitchen window.

The porch is larger than the one at our home.

NFL Experience Cont.
While Joe and Lily were up in the air - Elise and I were a little more grounded.
I was just trying to keep her entertained by taking her picture with the iPhone. But then I realized we were actually in front of a photo spot. The below pictures show Elise's personality when I am trying to get her to take a 'real' photo. She was not having it, she can be such a silly girl!

NFL Experience
The day before the Super Bowl we went to the NFL experience. Lily and Joe went on the Ferris Wheel while Elise and I made a very scary trip to a port-a-potty. Yikes. Thankfully I do not have any pictures of that. Joe did shoot a few of Lily on the big, scary Farris Wheel.
That did not look like fun to me! They did say it was a bit windy up there. After a very expensive dinner - think $8 nachos that were just chips with cheese wiz we moved on the other things.
